We custom tailor each couple's wedding day according to their unique wants and needs. Our goal is for our clients to feel that the process of hiring and working with EVP is not only stress free but that they don't have to worry if they have a team that truly has their back!

The Creative Team
for her new season of life. In 2016, Karin started building EV Photography as single mom of her
1 year old daughter, Evie, and while she was pregnant with her son Liam. She never dreamed that EVP would turn into what it has become today.
In April 2019, Karin and Greg were married on a private property in St. Pete, Florida. They had
an intimate, 25 person wedding with their closest friends and family. The wedding had a tropical garden vibe, a taco and tequila cocktail hour, and live music from a local street musician.
This job has allowed Karin to be present and available at home to raise Evie and Liam, grow as an artist, build a business that not only provides these opportunities for herself but other artists and families. She gets to work in luxurious spaces, meet amazing new people and be apart of the most beautiful of love stories. Capturing them is truly her honor and joy.

Jeff also grew up with his wife Faith and got married right after college in 2012. Their wedding was a cozy celebration tucked in the woods of Palos Park with their closest family and friends.
Jeff grew up a musician, always appreciated the creative arts and worked with a background in creative production. It wasn't until he and his wife Faith moved to L.A. that his love for Photography truly began to grow. After moving back to Chicago, Jeff continued to develop his love for photography shooting families, engagements and weddings. In 2019 he partnered with Karin and the EVP brand she was building. He became a full-time EVP lead photographer in 2023. Since then being a wedding photographer has become his deepest creative passion as he gets to tell each couple's unique story, frame by frame, with artwork they'll cherish forever.

What was once a side gig, and out of great necessity, Karin found herself turning to her love of photography in hopes it would provide a little income and security
Jeff met Karin when they were in 6th grade where they both grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago. They grew up with a lot of the same friends throughout high school and college but if you would have told them back then they would be working the wedding industry together today, they would have laughed in your face!
