Harper & Aaron // North Ave Lakefront Session

For Chicago couple Harper and Aaron, a downtown engagement session was a no brainer. Aaron is a born and raised Chicagoan, and an avid frisbee golfer, bicyclist, and scuba diver. You may have even seen him in his scuba gear volunteering at the Shedd Aquarium. Harper is originally from the east coast and met Aaron at a local festival. She knows the city inside and out, including where the latest outdoor concerts are happening, where the best bookstores are, and the best patio to grab a glass of wine with the girls. The two of them together just ooze Chicago and love hanging out around the lakefront.

We love that by choosing the North Avenue lakefront as their session location, Harper and Aaron didn’t force themselves to choose between the amazing Chicago architecture and scenic lakefront. They chose classic black and white ensembles that complemented the blue water and cityscape around them. The classic cut of Aaron’s suit echoes the sharp lines of the Chicago architecture and Harper’s breezy white dress is reminiscent of Chicago’s unrelenting wind and crashing waves.
