Harper and Aaron’s wedding at Ravinia Green Country Club was a perfect reflection of their personalities — joyful, meaningful, and full of energy. The day began with Harper wearing her grandmother’s watch as her “something borrowed,” a sentimental detail that spoke to the couple’s deep focus on family. Before the ceremony, they shared a private ketubah signing with their parents and rabbi, rewriting the traditional wording to reflect their partnership as equals — a grounding, intimate moment before the celebration began.
Their ceremony was held beneath a huppah that included Aaron’s late father’s tallis, blending tradition with heartfelt meaning. Surrounded by loved ones, they honored Jewish rituals such as the Seven Blessings and the breaking of the glass, before sealing it all with pure joy. One of the most memorable moments was their first look in Ravinia’s lush gardens, where Aaron’s face lit up in awe as he saw Harper — a private moment that set the tone for the day.
The reception was everything they had hoped for: a high-energy East Coast–style party filled with dancing, food, and laughter. The hora kicked things off, lifting Harper and Aaron high above the crowd, and the dance floor never emptied the rest of the night. What made the celebration unforgettable was the balance between joyful partying and heartfelt family moments — from honoring Aaron’s father to quiet smiles exchanged on the dance floor. It wasn’t just a wedding; it was the start of a marriage rooted in love, connection, and celebration.
