Interview and Consultation

You'll start by filling out a form on our Contact Page. We'll schedule a face to face introduction where we will hear more about you and the vision you have for your wedding! If it seems like it could be a good fit, we'll continue on with the consultation portion where we will design a custom tailored proposal that will best fit the needs for your day.

Get To Know Your Photographer

After booking, your photographer will be anxious to get to know you better! We want to know your likes, dislikes, dreams and vision for your wedding photos. We can meet over drinks or zoom if it's more convenient. Your engagement session is also great way to get started and for you to begin to feel comfortable in front of the camera.

We will start with a series of questionnaires and begin building your day-of timeline with you or your wedding coordinator.  Our goal is to ensure that your photography coverage works perfectly so you can RELAX on your wedding day... we got you!

Your Photo Premier Night

On your wedding day we work hard, shoot smart and love well...you might even catch us on the dance floor! You can be assured that your day is being captured in the best possible way!

You're invited to attend, what we call, your Photo Premier Night! It's a second celebration to reveal your photos in a fun way, relive those moments all over again, design your album and of course pop more champagne! That same night your online gallery link will be delivered to you. Invite friends or family to attend, it's going to be a great time!

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver RAW files?

When you hire EVP you are not only hiring us to take photos, you are also saying you trust our creative vision and direction. The RAW files are incomplete works of art and for this reason we will never deliver the RAW files as they do not represent our completed body of work.

Is there a travel fee?

There is a travel fee for wedding and engagement sessions outside a
30 mile radius outside of Chicago.
Destination weddings have an all-inclusive fee. 

Do you shoot on Film?

Yes! We offer film photography as an add on to your photography collection.

Do you offer videography?

We do! We offer it as an add on to any of our photography collections. Limited dates available.

What kind of gear do you use?

Most of our team uses Canon and Fuji for photography and Sony for video.

Do I have to order prints through you?

You do not have to order any printed photos through us. Print your photos wherever you'd like. Though, every couple we work with gets an heirloom album and we do offer custom framing and gallery artwork for purchase.

How do I know who my photographer is going to be?

Karin and Jeff are our two lead photographers and whoever reaches out to you during the inquiry phase will be your main photographer throughout the whole process. 2nd photographers are assigned closer to the wedding date and will be scheduled based on availability. 

How long does it take to get my photos back?

You will receive your photos 8 weeks after your wedding date. It takes 11-14 weeks for album design and printed artwork delivery.

Can I change my mind on which package I choose?

We understand you may not know exactly what you need right now. So we allow changes to your packages all the way up until final payment is due 1 month before your wedding date.

How many images do you deliver?

We don't put a cap on the amount of photos in your gallery. We deliver everything we shoot. The number of photos completely depends on your day. Most of our couples receive a minimum of 600 photos with our base package, but it's usually oh so much more! 

Can I get a sneak peak?

Because of our editing process and strategic reveal sessions we cannot guarantee sneak peaks. But we LOVE to try at least 1 or 2 images within the first week after your wedding.

How do you deliver my photos?

We create a beautiful custom online gallery where you can download High Res JPEGS, hosted for 1 year.

How much do you charge? 

Since one package DOES NOT fit all we need to hear more about what your needs are so we can create a  custom collections just for you!  We start with our base and add the different services that you value.
